A perfect introductory trip to India, hand held with love and care

 

From the back streets of Delhi to the dusty desert of Rajasthan, this is perfect for a first trip to India.  A gentle introduction to the real wonders of India.  With a delightful mix of exploring the markets, back streets of villages to experiencing one of the seven wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal, the majestic Amber Fort and a 2 day workshop in block printing with natural dyes and mud resist.

 

Ethical shopping.... whizzing around in auto-rickshaws,  Anokhi block printing museum and so so much more... it is just packed with fabulous things to do, but also with plenty of time in the evenings to relax, take a massage or more shopping. Oh and I know you will also make new friends who share a passion for textiles. 

 

The trip includes 3 nights in Delhi, and 6 nights in Jaipur. The Taj Mahal and a 2 day block printing workshop.

Please note this is not a 5* luxury holiday - we will be staying in the back streets in quirky local Indian hotels (things may not work properly  - especially in Delhi, but the Hotel is safe, comfortable, clean and full of charm - we have been staying in the same hotel for many years now- it feels like home!)   rather than international corporate hotels. A wonderful opportunity to experience real India... with us at your side to feel safe at all times.
